Policy Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms carefully — they govern all warranty coverage on Prahantam machines.
-
1
This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
-
2
Repairs or replacements under warranty will be carried out through the company's authorized service centres, including listed regional service centres, authorized service providers, or dealer-operated centres.
-
3
For installations located outside the operational jurisdiction of the authorized service centre, all expenses incurred in transporting the unit or components to and from the service location — including travel, conveyance, and other incidental costs for deputing technicians — shall be borne by the customer.
-
4
If any part(s) of the unit are repaired or replaced, the warranty will continue to remain valid only for the remaining period of the original warranty. The time taken for repairs or transit — whether under warranty or otherwise — will not extend the overall warranty period.
-
5
The company or its authorized service partner reserves the right to retain any replaced components at its discretion during the warranty period.
-
6
In case of a change in the product's installation address, the purchaser must inform the relevant service centre to ensure continued warranty coverage. Warranty continuation is subject to inspection of the product by the authorized service centre and confirmation that the product has not sustained transit damage. A nominal inspection visit fee will apply. Repairs due to transit damage, if any, will be chargeable to continue the warranty for the remaining period.
-
7
The company's liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts. Any claim under this warranty shall not exceed the lower of the product's maximum retail price or the original purchase price.
-
8
In the event that required spare parts are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the company's prevailing depreciation policy shall apply as a commercial resolution in lieu of repair.
-
9
The warranty does not cover any accessories or components external to the main unit (such as external water inlet hoses, plumbing taps, drainage piping, or external electrical stabilizer).
-
10
This warranty is issued in New Delhi. All legal proceedings related to this warranty are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
-
11
The service centre will determine whether the repair should be conducted onsite or at the regional service facility. Transportation of the product to the service location is not covered under this warranty.
-
12
Parts replaced under warranty will be functionally equivalent and may or may not be brand new.
